Hello all, I know it has been awhile since my last post, but I have returned with my Dark Knight review. I saw The Dark Knight on Friday, and I must say that it is the best comic book movie ever made and definitely my pick for best film of the year so far. The film transcends the superhero genre to become an excellent crime action film. All of the actors are on the top of there game, as they were in Begins, and the new actors including the late Heath Ledger and Aaron Eckhart are brilliant new addition to the A list cast. As expected Heath Ledger creates a truly terrifying Joker that delivers chills and unconformable funny moments. Christian Bale returns to play the title hero, and delivers a prefect performance once again.

The action is nonstop, and watching Bale and Ledger play off one another is the highlight of the film for me. Director Christopher Nolan has created a very smart action film that works on some many levels. The movie perfectly reflects, and respects, the source material. In short, go see this film, now. If you are a Batman fan like me, you will be left speechless. I’m already ready to see what Nolan and crew have in store for the last part of this trilogy.

Loss of a comedic genius.

One of my favorite comedians, George Carlin, has died at the age of 71. He was a person who spoke to the counter culture who saw all the bullshit in this world. His bits on religion and the conservative right wing were an inspiration to all those who shared his view, or could at least see some truth in them. He will be missed.

So I’m finished with Metal Gear Solid 4, and all I can say is wow, awesome game. It sets a new level in video game story telling, and it was worth ever hour. Word of warning though, If you have not played all the previous games you should not dive into the game without first playing all the other games. Not only would it help you understand the story, but it would also make the ending all the better.

That’s enough of that, I think it is time that I devout my last remaining weeks of summer to getting ready for collage. Oh wait, I almost forgot I have to write fucking thank you notes to all my relatives that sent me money for graduation. Some of my relatives have even asked my parents when I’m going to send the letters out, that is so fucking rude, it almost feels like they only sent me something to receive a thank you note in return. Well I’m going to get started, and as always I leave you with a video. This is a new Dark Knight trailer that contains clips from all the other trailers, but it does have a few new lines of dialog.

On Creating, and Watching.

So this summer I have decided to try and get serious about my writing. I have ideas all the time but I never seem to have the motivation to finish, or in some cases even start, a story. I’m just thinking right now and saving the ideas as they come. I’m thinking about beginning my first draft after I finish Metal Gear Solid 4, which is a big deal for me since I am a huge fan of the Metal Gear Solid franchise. If you are reading this blog regularly then you probably know what I’m talking about, but if you don’t just know it is a big deal for me. Yeah I’m a geek, so what?

I just want to immerses myself in a good story, which I think all of you can relate too. It is not that I want to forget my life for a few days, I’m actually feeling pretty good right now, and I’m ready to start collage. In other words I have forgotten about the topic of one of my earlier posts. ( See “Ah me so……Drepressed post.)

Now I’ll leave you with a look at a new movie I learned about recently that looks pretty good. It’s called The Wackness, it stars Ben “My pick for Mr. Freeze” Kingsley and Josh Peck.

This is a preview of a new film from one of my favorite directors, Kevin Smith. Now before you watch it I’m kind of obligated to tell you that the film and the preview are intended for mature audiences only, if you couldn’t tell from the title. It stars Seth Rogan from Knocked-Up and Superbad, and if the preview is any indication this film is going to be hilarious, if you like raunchy comedies that is. Okay, so I’m official out of high school, but unfortunately I’m still being affected by that hormone ridden place. So here is the story in a nutshell , ever since the beginning of the year I have had a huge crush on a junior girl in my journalism class. In class we talked and joked around, but I think I might have been to open with her. During a religious conversation I voiced my views a little to loudly, but it did not seem to bother her, she being a Christian and all I was surprised.

Well I recently got Facebook, and she wanted to be my first add. I talk to her almost everyday on there, but she is also talking with this guy who is openly in love with her. As they get closer and closer to forming a relationship, I get more and more depressed. I should have known that I could never have her, and now I know that, but I’m still fucking depressed.

Recently she has been sick, so of course he wrote in his status that he prayed that she would get well, yet she told me that he wants to sleep with her. Oh crap there I go talking about religion again, but it pisses me off that Christians think they can pick and choose which rules to follow.

Anyway, I do not know how to get over her, I also do not know if I should stay friends with her, or just stop talking to her because of the pain it causes me. Man I sound emo. If you have any advice feel free to comment. Peace out.

So I got back from school where we had an awards assembly for seniors. I won two medals, one for Journalism and another for US History, but no Scholarships, damn GPA. After the assembly on the drive home I felt really depressed, I guess I feel that I could have done more with my time in school, maybe I could have made better grades, been an honor graduate, or just socialized more.

After the assembly some of my fellow students were crying and hugging one another, and I did talk with my friends, but left before most of my classmates. Hopefully I’ll have some time after graduation to say my proper goodbyes, even to the people I know only in passing.

I have been pressured by some people to get a Facebook account, but I need to know how many people will even add me to there friend list, because that is the kind of person I’ve always been. I’ve always needed someone to make the first move socially, which would make me by definition anti-social. Anyway, tomorrow I take my AP Literature test, which If I do good on will give me three more collage hours. Peace out.

Ok, so I’m new to this whole blog thing, damn I sound like an old man. I’m new in the sense that this is my first blog. My plan for this blog is to inform on my interests more than my life, but I well vent from time to time, so look forward to that. (Sarcasm) Hopefully I can keep the blog up to date and not slack off, but be patient because I’m trying to graduate high school at the moment. Anyway peace out for now.
